Thank you for making a donation to the Box of Balloons – Sun Prairie, WI. Your financial gift allows us to deliver birthday boxes to families in need in our community.
We are a self-funded, local chapter of the national organization, Box of Balloons, a 501c3 non-profit organization on a mission to make every birthday happy and every child celebrated.
In order to keep our charter status active with Box of Balloons, we are required to pay $500 annually towards operational costs (website, insurance, etc.). Donation funds received above this amount are used to help us fill birthday boxes in Sun Prairie.
The Sun Prairie Chapter of Box of Balloons currently fills birthday boxes for boys and girls who attend Sun Prairie (SPASD) Elementary schools, as well as for children whose families are working with caseworkers at the Early Childhood Initiative, Building Bridges, Joining Forces for Families, and/or are being housed by Shelter from the Storm Ministries in Sun Prairie. We're filling about 8-10 birthday boxes each month, with 2 of those boxes being built using funds donated to our chapter.
Your financial gift of $100 provides everything needed to celebrate a child's birthday. Smaller gifts help too! A donation of $25 will provide cupcakes and party favors for one birthday party and $50 will provide a birthday gift for a child in need. A donation of any amount is appreciated and will help make a child feel celebrated on their special day.
